Jamestown 2007 - Long live the Queen

Written by Greg on May 6, 2007 – 9:10 am -

So this past week in Williamsburg has certainly been an event. The Queen of England stopped by for a spot of tea (actually a 2 day event tied to the 400th Anniversary celebration). Stephen made a trip down to take a tour of Jamestown and a couple of dinners at the local establishments. Take a look at the pictures from the weekend.

Now it is time to get ready for the President and his entourage that are coming next week.

Two more resturants…

Written by Greg on March 11, 2007 – 4:27 pm -

To add to the list of resturants that have become favorites…

  • Moes Southwest Grill - I have to thank Will and Erica for this one. I am not normally a south west/Mexican food fan, but dang…this stuff is addictive. Cindy and I are officially addicted to this stuff. I had it for lunch this past week and I had to go back (the next day) and took Cindy for dinner.
  • DaddyOs Pizza and Panini - A new place that opened in Norge last week. They have a killer corned beef panini and one of the partners is named Greg, so it can’t be all bad. :)

Added a few pages…

I have been playing a bit with Apple’s new iWeb application, which is a part the new iLife 06. Having some web experience, I have to say I am very impressed with this new application. For the casual user or the user getting into publishing pictures this application in conjunction with .Mac will have you on your way.

Check out the new pages we added, About Us…

Rain, rain, not a flake in sight…

Written by Greg on January 3, 2006 – 7:46 am -

One of the biggest differences between Williamsburg and the metro DC area is the climate. Who would have thought that two hours would make such a difference.

Last night the rain was pounding, it was raining so hard that I woke out of a sound sleep to the noise of the rain on the skylight in the master bathroom.

I must admit that I missed the snow on Christmas day which was typical of NY Christmas days when i was growing up. But the good things certainly outweigh the things I miss. Our neighbors are great, the town has a lot going on, new resturants to try and new experiences to be had, if only we could dry out for a little while…
