Cindy leaves for NJ…
Written by Greg on February 22, 2006 – 7:23 am -Cindy is headed to NJ for a week or so this morning. She is on a mission to help her mother plan for retirement and to relax and get pampered by her mother for a little while.
So let’s all remember what happened the last time Cindy went to NJ for the weekend, Perceiva was born.
It should be a pretty boringweek with the exception of the new Mac Book Pro will be delivered (hopefully by Friday).

Williamsburg, finally!
Written by Greg on February 19, 2006 – 9:30 am -My journey began yesterday morning at 4a Denver time. I called to get switched to the 7:59a flight out of Denver to Atlanta (my least favorite airport in the world). Once I was confirmed on the 7:59, I made the journey from the corporate apartment to the airport (about 45 minutes). The temp was -17 degress, fahrenheit. Of course, I had to stop and get gas for the Pathfinder Armada before getting on E470. So once the rather large tank was filled, I made my way down the black ice encrusted road to the airport. After dropping the rental car off and hoping on the little mini-bus over to the terminal, I grabbed my tickets, grabbed some thing to eat and waited for my plane, I sat down and promptly fell asleep, even before we made it to de-icing. I woke up about 20 minutes before we landed in ATL which is where the problems began. I got off the plane to find my Richmond flight had been cancelled, no apparent reason, just canceled. I made my way to the Delta Crown Room at B25 in Atlanta to find they had rebooked me on the 3:12p flight, okay I thought this would give me a chance to get something to eat, check email, and such. The 3:12p flight became a 3:40 flight, at which time I received a txt message from Stephen saying he had landed in DC. Mind you he left Denver at 10:30a (for those keeping score, 2.5 hours after I did). We finally took off and I was home bound. At about 5:00p we landed in Richmond. I was the first one off the plane (being up front has its priviledges) and made my way to baggage claim…but no bag. I went to the baggage claim office and was told, “oh yeah, 180 bags didn’t make the flight” we will get it to you tonight. Her casual attitude bothered me…I am a frequent flyer with Delta, I was flying first class, had priority tags on my luggage, had been on the ground in Atlanta for more then 3 hours. Last night came and went with no luggage. This morning at 7:14a I get a call from Delta telling me the luggage is on the way and it will be there within an hour…sure glad I was woken up to tell me that it would be there in an hour.
Each of these events were not huge issues, but add them all together and I have decided to shop for a new preferred airline…any suggestions?

Williamsburg bound…
Written by Greg on February 17, 2006 – 11:49 pm -I am schedule on a 6:59a flight from Denver back home (with a hop in Cinncinati). It has been a good week, but an exhausting one. I look forward to sleeping late on Sunday and doing as little as possible. ![]()

Another day in Colorado
Written by Greg on February 17, 2006 – 1:46 am -We are just finishing another day in the great state of Colorado. One more day and then back to Williamsburg for me. We have gotten a lot done including building the network (wired and wireless), lighting the T1, getting the phone system up and running and moving in the 5 employees of the western regional office.
Tonight we had a nice get together at one of the people’s house. There was a great cake with the Naviance logo on it.
Ah well, two more nights on the couch and then back to my wife, my animals, and my bed ![]()

It is snowing!
Written by Greg on February 16, 2006 – 12:16 am -Okay, so I am not in Williamsburg, I am in Broomfield Colorado. We got most of the office finalized today. We lit the T1 and everyone had Internet access. Today was the first day with employees on site which was good to get everyone there and working together. Two more days of final tweaking and setup.
I fly home on Saturday, it will be nice to see Cindy, spend time with the animals and sleep in my own bed (a bed of any kind would be good right now, as I am sleeping on the couch).

Christmas is upon us…
Written by Greg on December 13, 2005 – 10:16 am -It is hard to believe, it is once again, time for Christmas. Seems like yesterday I was watching Cindy walk down the aisle with dad by my side. But alas, Thanksgiving has come and gone and we are making preparations for Christmas. We have the honor of hosting the families for holiday in our new home in Williamsburg.
The last few weeks have been busy. Between work and the normal stuff, we have been doing some home improvements, making the house our home. We had the folks at University Painters do some painting in the family room, foyer, half-bath, my office, master bedroom, and the bonus room. We also had Pergo installed in the bonus room and my office everything is coming together. Last weekend we put up the tree. Last year mom gave us the tree that they had put up in the house in Brewster, while hard to accept, we realized that we could share the spirit of Christmas and continue our traditions, while creating some of our own.
In Perceiva news, I am preparing to make the trip across country to finish my training with Zultys. We just completed our first project with J.S. & C.H. Odell Organs in East Hampton Connecticut. Slowly but surely we are making progress.
Anyway, I must get to the airport, more soon.
