Travels
Written by Greg on September 10, 2006 – 6:04 pm -Well tomorrow morning I leave the comforts of Williamsburg for two weeks of travel. I will be first stopping in DC for some work at Naviance. I am meeting Tom for lunch at City Lights and then on to central NJ for a the rest of the week. I will then pop up to Brewster for the weekend before returning to central NJ for another 4 days of work with a well known modern day telephone company.
There are five good things about the trip (in no specific order);
- I will make Marriott Silver again this year and on the way to Gold.
- I will get a little spoiling from mom while in Brewster (beef cutlets here I come…yummie)
- Meeting the in-laws for dinner one night
- Get to have my checkup with Dr. Miller.
- And of course, money.
Wish me luck…

From the messiah himself…
Written by Greg on August 27, 2006 – 9:19 am -It has been a bit crazy around here lately. Things with Perceiva are going well, which is causing some “problems” we hadn’t thought of before now, so that just makes things busier then before.
Well Cindy emailed me a quote this morning that is helpful and it is from none other then Steve Jobs, Apple Computer. Thank you honey…
Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. - Steve Jobs

Week of toys….
Written by Greg on June 1, 2006 – 6:41 pm -So last Friday my Treo 700p arrived. Well today, my new MacBook Pro 17″ arrived courtesy of our friendly neighborhood Fedex man. The 15″ was VERY nice, but the 17″ is amazing, the screen is just so far big.
This morning was a tech breakfast in Norfolk with the Hampton Roads Technology Council to discuss VoIP, how appropriate ![]()

Weekend update…
Written by Greg on May 28, 2006 – 10:11 am -Well, I made my decision, I went with the Treo 700p. It came in on Friday and I have been geeking out with it since. Very cool device, EVDO speeds are awesome. I never realized how much I liked Treos until I used my Blackberry for so long.
I wound up ordering a new MacBook Pro this past week. Cindy wanted to be able to run Windows and Mac OS X on the same machine, so we eBayed off a bunch of crap to clear out the house (basically old computer gear). It is amazing, someone bought Cindy’s old Dell 4600 for *MORE* then what we paid for it a year and a half ago. WTF? Anyway, I ordered a 17″ MacBook Pro and it should be here in about a week or so. I am building out Cindy’s MacBook now.
It appears July is the month for travel. So far, I will be in Denver, NY, and San Francisco. Naviance is having an all hands meeting in at the western region office in Broomfield, CO. Cindy and I are getting away for a weekend in San Francisco to celebrate the anniversary of our engagement. And then we are celebrating Grandma’s 95th birthday in the Hamptons on what is traditionally the hotest day of the year (July 21).
Some good Perceiva news, we were invited to join the James City County Technology Incubator to help develop the business. We move in on June 1. This looks to be like a great opportunity, stay tuned for more details.
