One day down, a lifetime to go
Written by Greg on August 23, 2007 – 8:14 pm -For as long as I can remember, I have been overweight. There are some pictures of me when I was young that I was a “normal” size. After spending some time thinking about it, I think I have figured out that I starting gaining weight around the time that dad was sick the first time (around 1982), certainly not an excuse, but just a correlation.
Today marked the completion of Weight Watchers Online, Day 1. I was able to without an issue stay within my “points.” In fact, I was able to save enough points for a special treat this evening. One of my favorite treats, M&Ms and cold water. Even with the chocolate delight I will be under my point total by 6 (after gainined 5 points for my time at the driving range today).
Cindy has been doing Weight Watchers on and off for a couple of years and when she is on it, she has great success, so she too is re-committing today.
Wish us luck!

Good luck to both of you. It’s all about portion size, whether you count points or not. I guess it’ll be a while before you enjoy some of that NY pizza, eh? Hang in there!
