Bathroom Etiquette

While traveling back from Denver Friday evening, I had the pleasure of being caught in the airport for an additional hour or two. I took some time to grab some water and stop in the mens room. While in the mens room, I heard a cell phone ring, not unusual, but this time the guy answered the phone and continued to have a conversation despite random “sounds” going on around him. No sooner then his conversation ended, did another cell phone ring and you guessed it that person answered the phone and proceeded to have a conversation.

Now I am all for connectivity, but for the love of god, take a few minutes from your busy schedule and allow yourself a few minutes without answering the phone, if not for yourself, for the sanity of those in the bathroom with you.

I’m pretty sure I’d rather listen to cell phone chatter than the other sounds typical of a men’s room. ;)
