Adding to the list…

Well we have another Italian restaurant to add to our list of “Best around the country”

It all started when we were in San Francisco several years ago and we found an ad for a restaurant called Cafe Riggio. It was located off the beat and path (actually a few miles from Union Square. The food was simply amazing and the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. While in Chicago not to long ago, we found a great place called Volare. Again, incredible food and awesome atmosphere. About a month ago, we found a place in Dumfries (of all places) call Tizano’s, right off US 234 (about 1.5 miles from the house) and tonight we add Lucia Ristorante located in the North End of Boston at 415 Hanover Street, just amazing.

As we wind down our trip and get ready to head to Logan in the early morning, I just want to thank Stella, who very graciously accepted Tucker at the last moment when our kennel refused him because he was a month over due for his shots. Mind you when I made the reservation about a month and a half ago there was no mention that shots would be an issue…and when I pointed that out the response I got was that well, he didn’t need them when you made the reservation. Any of you in the Woodbridge/Dumfries area, I can not urge you enough NOT to deal with River Oaks Animal Hospital, the women the other morning were simply rude. On the other hand, I can’t say enough good things about the Dumfries Animal Hospital, though they are very busy…they have always been helpful and Friday was no exception.
